This is where I'll occassionally ramble on about penguiny nonsense. Hopefully you'll find it at least mildly interesting and/or amusing.

I just adopted my very own stuffed penguin (and a tin of Penguin Mints) from Thinkgeek.com, arguably one of the best geek-gear sites around. I can't wait for him to arrive! I hope they punched air holes in his/her box and gave him something to keep him busy.

Hey there everybody! Kaishaku just took me out of my envelope about a half hour ago, but he's already putting me to work! Phew, this typing stuff is hard. The trip was a bit rough, but at least I had Penguin Mints to snack on. Kai is taking me to a play tonight! It should be great. See you soon!

Meet Pocket!

Pocket the Penguin arrived in a nice comfy padded envelope today! He smelled great, mostly due to having sat next to a tin of Penguin Mints (which, by the way, fizzle up in a very cool way when placed in a carbonated beverage) for three days. As soon as Pengie gets around to placing the picture of us in the proper location (Silly penguin!) I'll put it on here. But right now, I have to give Pocket typing lessons. Bye!

The very first day I hung out with Kaishaku, he took me to a play. I sat in his pocket and got an excellent view. Several people petted me on the head, which I enjoy thoroughly.

It's not all fun and games being a geek's penguin, though. He already has me doing his physics homework for him. Luckily he hasn't used me for experimenting with projectile velocity yet!

Pocket the Melodic Penguin

Last night Kaishaku played with a band, and I got to be his roadie! I sat on top of his amp for most of the night. Here's a picture of me tuning his guitar before we left the house. He got mad at me for not tilting his amp back; he couldn't hear himself for the first two songs. Oops!
